Also, it doesn't matter what order he returns them in...but what makes sense to me at the moment is doing the Reality Stone last...because can't he make it a reality to put the Soul Stone back into its sacrifice stage? Which would also be a moot point because Thanos is technically no longer in that time as he time jumped to face the Avengers in the final battle in Endgame...so that created an alternate timeline

Can also put the tesseract around the Space Stone with the Reality Stone.
Can create Loki's sceptre with the Reality Stone.
Can recreate the protective force field for the Power Stone with the Reality Stone

And then return the Reality Stone last before banging Peggy for the rest of his life

Thanos is brilliant. On par with Stark.

So once nebula's watch was in his hands it probably was within his capabilities to figure out how to use it or expand it's capabilities.

Maybe he figured out how to make pym particles, or how to get more mileage out of the existing ones he had. He's definitely smarter than Hank Pym and has access to alien technology that neither Tony nor Hank had. Reverse engineering it doesn't seem like it would be beyond his abilities.
