Relationship How important is therapy in your life and relationships?

I know some therapists personally and they have way more problems then I do in their personal life. It wouldn't work for me. Heal yourself first before you can heal others.
I know some wise people that study and practise philosophy and the Vedic literature and I would rather speak with them if I need some advice, because they are mentally very strong and have a lot of knowledge.

Not at all, have zero interest in that garbage. You're a man, get your own shit together.

I don’t need it, i have it made in the shade, free living in mom’s basement, meat loaf whenever I want it, shit post in the dog in between my regular porn schedule

Yes, I used to see psychotherapist regularly.

That was his name. Psycho, the rapist.

I can't say I enjoyed our visits.

It is something that I personally have never considered an option. I really enjoy the way I feel after grinding through extremely difficult time periods myself.

I would put it this way. I think everyone should be seeing a therapist on some type of basis. Maybe a month every few years just to check in to see if more is needed. The expense associated with having dysfunctional relationships with other people, being depressed, or having some other undiagnosed issue is so large that therapy itself, even just checks ups are not that expensive. 60% of marriages ,for example, end in divorce and honestly little to know effort it made by most people to recognize what a good relationship even is. It is a little baffling to be honest that the government doesn't recognize the inherent cost to the economy of issues like divorce and other issues and provide free therapy and mental healthcare. Therapy and mental health checkups should be treated on the same level as a yearly physical.
