More like congressional pressure, and it’s kind of bizarre.
For the record, I don’t care a whole lot what happens to Hunter, and I don’t think many other liberals do either. I do think the amount congressional interest in Weiss’s investigation—which has gone on for five years now, FFS—is pretty odd.

The plea deal was fine, and probably should’ve been allowed to go through. But whatevs…Hunter will go through the legal system and it’ll be whatever it’ll be.

The likely outcome here is Hunter Biden's case is going to get the recent precedents in state courts that drug use alone shouldn't be sufficient reason for the government to deprive you of your 2nd amendment rights elevated to the Federal level.
