Well the pictures I chose aren't flattering, but those guys were in their prime around 1850, and around 1830 for Dumas who's about 20 years older (born in 1802, Dosto 1821, Tolstoy 1828); hence the fact that you can find photographs of prime Tolstoy and Dostoevsky, but for Alex... it seems that only paintings of him being 20ish are available, on the earliest photographs I found, he seems to be in his early 40's at best.

Anyway, I totally didn't chose, on purpose, pics where the russians look like skeletons so that it looks like the big Frenchman can smash them lmao. I swear !
