Is it fair to say Alex Pereira is the best striker in MMA history?

However it's hard to say there's a better p4p striker than him in MMA history. Has the credentials, the technique, the power, and the belts.

That said, what Silva did was like some magic trick. That stuff can never be replicated.

I think yes. At least in terms of what he’s accomplished with only having striking as a weapon. MMA is more well rounded than ever and poatan has managed to hold belts in two divisions with only striking as an offensive weapon

The best (techniques, variety of strikes, footwork, defense, etc.) I don't know (I think prime Spider Silva was), but he probably has the most lethal striking game in the history of the UFC.

8 fights in the UFC while having a hilarious size advantage for most of them, and getting badly KOd, isn't screaming "greatest of all time." Honestly, top 20 is probably even a stretch at this point.
