I'm glad the UFC didn't give him that immediate rematch. I'm getting real tired of immediate rematches. I don't think Jiri should go to HW. I know he's fought at HW before but he doesn't match well with the top guys at HW IMO and very likely gets blasted by them.

Brilliant.. The UFC gets two champs in a row to vacate so they could keep having LHW title fights. But now they’re going to wait 8+ months for Hill? I don’t get it.

Maybe Alex is saying he wants a break? That would actually make sense.

I don’t see either of those options going particularly well for Jiri. He is way too hittable for HW. And I’m not sure cutting that extra weight is a good idea for MW.

Of course the opponent will matter. But maybe a lower ranked LHW might be a better idea if it’s just a stay busy fight?
