He does not possess the nuances to beat Jones.

He may have been able to "panic wrestle" Ciryl Ganee, but he does not have that "out" with Jon Jones.

Jones was barely beating lesser LHWs (some say he lost to one or more of those), then got a title opportunity against a HW with no ground game.

There is a reason Jones has already run from this fight- he is more realistic about his abilities than his fans.

Jones could easily be the GOAT LHW, but let's not get carried away. He is not the best HW by any stretch, and the top HWs would never have struggled with guys like Reyes in the way Jones did.

Its not exactly new that people think someone with the ability to land with big power from range could be a bad match for Jones, they were saying it with Rumble and in this case Tom doesnt have the grappling weakness.

Aspinalls' defence still looks a bit patchy to me, a bit "Rockholdish" in that you get the sense he's trying a lot of advanced head movement beyond his ability to carry out and Sergei did land on him well but thats Jones big weakness isnt it? not having big power to punish that kind of thing.
