Justin blunders all over India

I still can't get over paying for a celebrity chef to fly to India to cook... Indian food just a week or two after going on about cutting back on the money available for veteran services.

How fucking retarded was the other option for Canada? Seriously? This guy?

Imagine a foreign head of state visiting Canada and strutting around dressed up as a Mountie and a lumberjack. That is how much of a clueless, out of touch, embarrassing idiot Trudeau is.

And the thing to remember is that Trudeau isn't the head of state, he's the head of government. And yet this trip was exactly like something a crowned head of state like the British royal family would embark on. Obviously when Putin or Merkel or anyone else goes on an official visit they're not working out all the insurance and outs of complicated trade agreements and such right then and there - things have to be worked out by ministers and high-level officials in advance. But even still, there's serious business that gets conducted after the initial photo-ops and meals. In the wake of this 8 day (doesn't that seem ridiculously excessive btw?) trip it doesn't seem like he really got down to much of any substantial business. We the taxpayers shelled out a bunch of money for this guy to parade around India as if he were the Queen rather than a modern PM on a working official visit, and more to the point we all paid for him to campaign for votes. Not cool, in fact this should be considered scandalous imo.

Relative to other incidents in the past in Canada and elsewhere, I have a hard time calling it a scandal. More like an inadvisable attempt at pandering. But it appears I'm alone in taking an even handed approach here so, flame on (not you particularly, but--you know).

It's just so incredibly offensive to serious business interests to assume their decision makers would be impressed with offensive pandering.

You know what business people in India wear? The same thing business people everywhere wear - suits and ties.
