I don't know, I think Vegas is probably appropriate for one of their newest biggest stars. There isn't even a whole month difference between 306 and 308 so if Alex doesn't want 308 I don't think he'd want 307.

There's only so many Vegas cards a year. He just headlined one, Conor is headlining the next one etc. I don't think Alex is going to be that particular about the location as some of the fans are. It seems to be more about the date than anything based off what he said.

Also keep in mind they have other champions that could headline at The Sphere. I think O'Malley vs Dvalishvili is a much more likely headliner for there than Pereira's next fight, I think O'Malley mentioned it as a possibility.

i am not getting wet over this fight and most ppl that i have seen aren't either. but if we want to maintain some sort of meritocratic system and legitmize mma as a genuine sport, we have to make fights against the best of the best even if the fight is not easy on the eyes. otherwise, mma just turns into a bar brawling system where fights are only slap fests or shock porn.
