LOL check out this old video of Chris Stuckmann

It doesn't matter. My only curiosity was why you'd watch someone who pitches to a general audience when you're pretty informed already. You find him likable, fair enough.

I enjoy getting his perspective. It's as simple as that.

I don't feel like his reviews tend to be any more or less insightful than established professional critics.

As a matter of fact, why don't we compare? Richard Roeper, as I'm sure you know, used to be Ebert's companion.

What do you think of the quality of these two reviews? One from Chris Stuckmann; the other from one half of Ebert and Roper At the Movies.





 
His normal reviews are generally 6-10 min long but he actually has a separate series of longer video for critical analysis. I found him on youtube through his analysis of a very interesting movie Enemy.



If you sort his video list by popularity, you will see some other movie analysis as well.


Indeed.

Yeah, I know. I have watched his analysis of Only God Forgives.

I'm just saying that his regular reviews are just reviews. You can't expect them to be detailed breakdowns of the films.
