Dove, one of the most inclusive companies for both race, and different body types has been accused of racism in a new ad. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/10/...-14&sk=&cvid=A8D953BD87C2441688FA4B1FCF024825

Here, they are accused of body shaming for having different bottle shapes to represent different body types.

And let's end with criticism of dr Seuss's past works and the museum. As well as the cat and the hat poking fun at black stereotypes.

You can't even go one day without something triggering folks these days.

they're raisin the stakes real high.

lmao well the dove ad, a soap/shampoo company, start off with a black (dirty) in a dark shirt taking off said shirt and becomes white (clean) with a lighter shirt, who takes it off and becomes whiter (cleaner). Pretty racist to me.

Dr. Seuss born in 1904 is obviously raised in a racist time, so I'm not surprised if he is racist. I mean look at all the racist books he's written.

I'm glad someone is bringing these crucial crucial topics up.

I thought the last chick was Hispanic? The commercial is probably only guilty of being shitty.

You raise a beast, and you're bound to be consumed by it. Political correctness is a beast you cannot tame.

It can be tamed but not until the major media networks drop the fake sympathy act. If there werent right leaning outlets like Fox, Breitbart, and Patriot to constantly ridicule and bitch about political correctness, just imagine how bad it would appear to be.

with 24/7 news, you have to fill up the time with something to put on the air.

"news", analysis, and group-discussions about a soap commercial fills in quite a bit of air time.

there's already a thread on this.

yeah the ad was stupid.

It's like they want to fit everyone in the same small box.

Too many pussies won't just say "You know what, I don't give a fuck that you're offended by something. Go cry to your momma."
