He could bully Nate Diaz again. That rematch would do around 600K buys and Masvidal could get paid around $1 million for it.

With the win over Diaz, Masvidal could then fight McGregor. Given that McGregor-Poirier 3 did 1.8 million buys, McGregor-Masvidal would do at least 1.5 million buys. Masvidal could get paid $5 million.

If Masvidal wins, McGregor would likely want a rematch. So Masvidal would get paid again.

This is actually how history went:

He punched Leon backstage,
went on to fight the CHAMP twice - who is worlds better than Edwards.
Had a fight scheduled with Leon, but got injured
ended up fighting Colby, who is a better, and higher ranked fighter than Leon.

How does facing better competition make him gutless? If he was gutless he sure wouldn't have fought Usman or Colby. He could have easily made a rematch with Diaz, or somebody way easier than Usman of Colby. He fought #1, #1 #2 3 fights in a row - and you call him gutless lol. And I bet his next fight will be Edwards because Leon will somehow get screwed out of the next title shot for the 20th time lol.

Masvidal has been fighting pro 20 years and has 51 fights, he's about as far from gutless as you can get.
