This whole 14th amendment crap they are trying to pull to get Trump off the ballot doesn't even sound legal. From my understanding wouldn't there have to be a law signed by congress specifically laying out the crime of insurrection, then in a court of law Trump would have to be be found guilty of insurrection as labeled and as described by that law for the 14th amendment to apply here. None of this has happened, so how can it even apply? Imo all this stunt is going to do is leave a bunch of egg on the Democrats face and result in more people voting against them.
