no mention about hip movement and timing, knee extension and timing, penetration step positioning and angle, lumbar extension e.t.c. all these need to be addressed when throwing a kick
There is more than one right way to go about many things.

Agility, precision , power , timing e.t.c. all can be maximized using a different way of executing a strike but the most efficient is one that uses all of the above, you can throw a quick punch that doesn't hurt or a slow telegraphed punch that hurts but how do you throw a quick and strong punch? This is why you need proper technique especially when you try to teach other people.
