Social MMA Guru is skeptical on why Michael Chandler adopted black children.

Calling out dumb race pot-stirring things should happen, why can't you make quality threads? Still waiting for you to answer me in your other thread or admit what you said was full of shit.

@Mack Yancy I’m still waiting quote me saying the woke are upset about this and how I got backed into a corner like you said …

Well you tried your very best to be sneaky but the truth always reveals itself.

Your buddy's post says that 'boobs will defeat the woke' and look I found one very insecure @ShadowRun liking the post.

You're a fucking idiot lol

I wonder why rich white people are obsessed about adopting black kids, maybe it's their savior syndrome. Blacks in tweets are destroying him lol
To take a child out of the foster system be they white or black or any shade in between and give them a stable loving home... you literally are their savior. Peeps online complaining need to look at themselves and if they feel strongly then adopt and become the savior for another kid.

Precisely.

I really do not care if they are doing it for brownie points or what have you. Are they treating them well? Taking care of all of their needs, whether physical or emotional? Treating them with respect, and teaching them how to survive and thrive in this world? If these are answered with a yes, then everything else is secondary. They are still doing those children and the world a great service, and that is what truly matters.

Black children are the least likely group to be adopted as well while seventy something percent of adopting parents are white. Adopting the least adopted group isn't a negative unless you are a bigot. That's the reason color matters to some. Ultimately, those children are just children. Early enough and they don't really see race they see parents that love them and care for them. That's gold and the way the world should be. I've always admired those that adopt. Then you get to parents adopting abused kids with issues, handicap children etc... it takes a lot of love to adopt and spend time giving a proper upbringing. Props to any who have done it.

Everyone keeps telling me MMAguru is a racist but I never get any proof.

Is he doing it for brownie points though? You have spent over 6 posts skirting around what you think of Chandler's motivation.

No clue. I don’t live in the guy’s mind, so how could I possibly know unless he says it?

Skirting around it… lolol

Maybe you can speculate. Just like you speculate about everything else you believe to be a fact on this forum.

I don’t claim facts unless I believe they are, and if it turns out that I’m wrong, please feel free to correct me. No shame in being wrong and correcting it.

Doesn’t SEEM like he has some secret agenda or anything. Just helping a kid that needs it. That’s fine with me. Better than most of us do.

Virtue signalling is definitely a thing especially with celebrities who like to use their kids for social credit points.

That said I'm not sure if that's the case with Chandler, but it's definitely a bit odd to see two completely white parents go out and seek to adopt a black child. I'm not inside his mind and don't know exactly why he did it but its a bit suspect for sure.

We haven't reached a level of wokeness in which fat gingers are seen as human; much less thinking their opinions on anything hold any value. Let's keep it that way

LOL I never understood why white people treat gingers like shit.

Like racism is terrible, but gingers... ahh fuck em.

Same thing with Europeans and gypsies.

We havent evolved enough to judge people on their character rather than characteristics :(

That might be another couple of thousand years away, until then any attempts are all 'woke'.

You are for doing away with Affirmative Action, Race-based college admissions, Black / Hispanic / Pacific Islander / PRIDE etc months, segregated "Blacks Only" dorms on college campuses, etc?

If so, congratulations; you sound like many conservatives in the United States who have been clamoring for doing away with such "characteristic" based things along with the treatment of people based on said characteristics.

I've never seen attempts to do away with such things as "woke". The more "modern liberal" society becomes the more we seem to focus on someone's race, gender, or sexual orientation.

It reminds me of when it was a Hollywood fad to adopt non-white kids. Pitt/Jolie, Katherine Heigl, etc. The thing is Chandler doesn't have any biological kids. Nor do they seem to be planning on it (Chandler is 38 and I don't think his wife is young) and I never heard about fertility issues. They're a strange couple.

They are much less likely to get adopted, period. White people adopt kids at a higher rate. It is bound to happen. What else should be done? Let them stay in foster care forever? IDK man.

it's not like there are a lot of options to choose from.

if you're option is a pool of black kids ready immediately vs a white kid that might be on a wait list, it's more of an assignment, than "they chose".

the option is likely a pool of all black kids, not that they had a choice.

chandler wanted to come off with the virtue vibe

mmaguru didnt know what he was talking about
