'82 was the GOAT World Cup . Golden era of football, nothings compared since. Before tv money stripped the true provincial nature of its roots.

'86 was good as well. '90 & '94 were definitely not memorable. '98 and '02 were great.

Nah, was deffo Battiston.

Knocked him clean out cold, had to ambulance him straight to the hospital with broken teeth & a damaged vertebra. Shumacher got away with murder, not even a booking. Carried on playing and saved a bunch of penalties in the shoot-out to take the German's into the final.

He offered to pay Battiston's dental bill right after the match, cheeky fucker :icon_lol:
