Crime Officer, Court Official Killed During Tax Eviction

In England and Wales, for unsecured debts they can get a charging order meaning they are paid when your house is sold (no minimum debt) and compel sale if the debt is £1000 or more. You would have to really exhaust the system's patience to lose your home for credit card debt though.
It's exceedingly unlikely unless you're not willing to make any effort whatsoever to negotiate a settlement of the debt, credit counselling and the like.

Bankruptcy though? Unless you gotta be relieved of your home before you can file for that.

If there are no consequences for not paying taxes then why would anyone pay their taxes? It's either eviction or jail. I guess this guy chose jail. Well, prison to be exact and he won't have to worry about paying property taxes for a long, long time (if ever).

Property taxes mostly pay for public schools. They also contribute to the public safety fund which includes fire and police. If you get rid of property taxes then you'll have to reduce police budgets so it sounds like a lot of you are in favor of defending the police.

No, you would not normally have to give up your home in the event of bankruptcy over credit card debt unless, again, you totally disregarded all attempts to help you settle the debt maybe.

Taxes are theft, sure. Roads and the fire department should just pay for themselves by private contributions. We could all live in libertarian utopia sponsored by corn nuts - corn to the core.
In Tennessee I believe there is a policy if you want fire department coverage it's 1000 a year. So they could cut property taxes. If your house is burning down you cannot go online an pay up. Someone said the firetruck showed up an watch their house burn down. But made sure everyone was out.

There is plenty of tax and money printing to pay for essentials. If the feds and certain states weren't using peoples hard earned money to pay for illegals, nonstop war, whatever other nonsense, property taxes wouldn't be needed to uphold roads. The government makes more than enough money and when they don't, they just devalue it by printing more.
