Pavlovich is a WAY better version of Francis Ngannou

Recency bias defined!

Stipe's the goat, now Francis is...now Bones, now Pavlovich!!!!!1

grappling?? where did you even see him do it?

that's called gaslighting, son. don't do it.

I don't know about all that, but he looks good so far. He definitely hasn't shown Francis' tendency to clam up if he's facing a power equal, so he's ahead of Ngannou in that regard, but that could all change if he gets banged on one time, so we'll see.

I'd say Francis still has the advantage in raw power, and looks to be a better mover athletically while throwing his power, meaning he can transition fluidly through positions if need be, but he does tend to get real wild and sloppy with his kill shots, where as Pav seems to have a better grasp on how to apply his power in a more traditionally sound technical manner, while still throwing absolute kill shots.

We also haven't gotten to see Pavs offensive or defensive ground game, so Ngannou is likely ahead of him there as well, until proven otherwise. Aside from bad TDD, Ngannou has decent ground arsenal offensively, but we haven't seen any of what Pav can or can't do there yet.

Anywho, YES Pav looks great and very promising, but NO, he is not YET a proven superior to Ngannou.

Combines Ngannou level power if not more with actual striking and grappling skill.
He doesn't hit anywhere as hard as Ngannou (Sergei has no one hit ko power), and current Ngannou probably already have better grappling as well.
