He's only really made one high-profile appearance. He had a great fight vs Overeem back in Pride, in the year 2002. He used to be mention as a frequent dark horse back in the day, since he had a good showing vs Alstair even though he lost.

Any idea on how they'll divide the time?

You're only allowed to fight a maximum of 25 minutes in the US. So it has to be 10 min + 15
