Took a week off and drove to Portland to train at the 10th Planet there. Mostly worked on Spiderweb grip breaks and escapes, but also arm drags to body locks and turtle attacks. Lots of positional live drills which was awesome. Checked out Cannon Beach, a few malls, and the downtown area (sketchy af). The drive there was awesome, both going through B.C. on the way there and coming back through Idaho.

Have seen A7X twice, once was the first City of Evil tour showand they were crap , 2nd time was Download 06 and they were loads better! Alexisonfire only seems to play London over here or one festival date a year thats never nearby, really wanna see them though.

Work got in the way mid-week but I managed to round up a solid week nonetheless.

Another fantastic seminar at 10p Calgary. Offensive mount, Kabib style; seated with legs on both sides with free hands to fight opponent's hands. Not really my style but a good tool to work on. It makes for super long days when I go there because it's a minimum 3hrs each way, but I think it's worth it. The level is really high, so I'll improve faster the more I go.

Wish I had footage of my last one. Omoplata in no-gi was pretty slick.
3 more comps in my area until the end of the year. My division is empty in all of them; and I can't register for the absolute only... Will get back on the comp train next year.

Worked on inversions in Calgary and it went really well. I need to keep working on that skill as it is crucial to a strong leg lock game.
