Crime President Biden declares Easter Sunday a Transgender Day of Visibility

Do you think this decision was deliberate to annoy people during election year?

  • Yes

  • No

  • Probably just a coincidence

it's a dumb cult that rejects biological evidence.

"Biological evidence" is not the sole factor in how we treat people.

For example, the "biological" reality is that 12yo girls who have hit puberty are "biologically" ready to procreate. Yet, unless you're a p-word, we all recognize that the psychological aspect of a human being is more important than the "biological" evidence (sexually mature gonads). Which is why we have age of consent laws, as 12yo girls are not emotionally mature enough to be having babies.

So unless you are going to be consistent and bitch and moan about age of consent laws not representing "biological" reality, then you sound like a big fat hypocrite in insisting that trans people live strictly according to the "biological evidence".

And the government needs to take every opportunity they can to let us know that there are trans people out there and that they deserve special treatment.

Who cares about a broken healthcare system, poor education for children, failing infrastructure, and rising drug and crime rates. Propping up mentally ill people is far more important than trying to fix all of that.
This thread topic is OLD news, regurgitated as rage porn.

Your second paragraph is a completely different topic and has nothing to do with recognizing trannies...and Republicans aren't doing anything or even proposing anything to address any of that shit you mentioned, they aren't even trying.

If your supposition is that because trannies are being recognized that means in some strange zero sum reality that things like education can't be addressed simultaneously, your premise is false to begin with. It's exactly the same as "why should we help Ukraine when we can't even fix our border?!"...as if either of those things are predicated on the other. Our government has the resources to do all this shit, they just aren't doing it...and the reality is that one party, the Republicans, by their very nature, are impediments not just to those items you mentioned getting done...Republicans are impediments to literally ANYTHING getting done. Republicans today are in government to sabotage it and prove it doesn't work.

The problem most places isn't their rights it's the discrimination they receive. Just look at that Bud Light fiasco over a guy in a dress.

The government can't legislate your acceptance but it can codify protections for them and giving them a day of acceptance or inclusion effects you in no way at all. This is a manufactured outrage for partisan reasons.

I'm against transgender men in women's sports, and think there should be specific bathrooms/locker rooms for them, but let's be genuine. Most of this hate come from the radically religious and latent homosexuals.
I think before we get 'genuine' we need to acknowledge that the vast majority of what is considered "hate from radically religious and latent homosexuals" is simply refusing to let someone's feelings supercede objective reality. There's undoubtedly some legitimate hate and discrimination but that can be said for any identifiable group. Refusing to validate the beliefs of another group isn't hate, and if it was, Christians get far more than trans people.

Why pick Easter?
It’s an election year. They’re hoping a religious fanatic flips out and shoots up a tranny event.
It should have been during that time. Why pick Easter? I know that it falls on a different day each year, but really?

Why's everyone up in arms? It ALWAYS falls on MArch 31st, it's Easter Sunday that bounces around date wise. Lol. People I swear wake up every morning clutching their pearls thinking "what will I be offended about this morning?"

Yes that’s been discussed ad nauseam.
They’d have picked a different day to harp about trannies if they weren’t trying to provoke Christians.
But when the day was first acknowledged by Biden in 2021 it didn't fall on Easter. Do you think they did so knowing that three years later it'd fall on Easter?

Never under estimate the constant need of grievance and outrage that drives the right wing noise machine

According to the google machine 3/31 has been the transgender visibility day since 2009.

Conservatives roast Biden for recognizing the same holiday on the same day bc it happens to fall on Easter this year.

Thats some pretty amazing level snowflake stuff.

It's funny because the more they push this trans shit the worse it actually gets for them. They've forced the vast majority that never cared to consider the issue and pick a side. I think gross indifference was better for the trans people that just want to live their life.
Yes it s ridiculous. They have been pushing the rights of like 0,5% of the population with abandon. A bunch of people who used to ve indifferent now are just like stfu with that.

Yes, and I fell for it thinking that he had just made that date on Easter and then I learned the truth. It makes the whole thread kind of pointless.
