Pretty funny/sad to see two different figureheads attacking the Christian faith in different ways.

Biden by unnecessarily insisting trans recognition day falls on Easter Sunday, Trump by fleecing them senseless with another profiteering scam the likes of which we haven't seen since Trailer Park Boys.
Biden didn’t insist anything.

Tit for tat. But this isn't a very "adult" thing for the Biden administration. Clearly meant to antagonize. Even LGBTQ+ friendly Christians are wondering "Why?"
Because when they named this day years ago and it has nothing to do with Easter.

Deciding to push a Trans holiday on EASTER? You don't see how that could in any way offend someone...

They could choose any other day of the year, yet they chose *THE* Christian holiday.
Biden started acknowleding this holiday back in 2021 when it didn't fall on Easter. In light of that what should he have done here? Skip this year because it fell on Easter? That would undermine the entire point of the transday.

I know, in 2009. But the political ramifications of the administration publicizing it on Easter is clear, and that's why people are complaining.

Agreed. I'm just stating the obvious, though. One of those damned if you do, damned if you don't situations.

Ah, so it's just fake outrage porn for weirdos?

That makes more sense.

For what it's worth, if it's being said Biden should have moved the visibility day because it happened to coincide with Easter? Yeah, nah. Fuck that.

Thanks for correcting me!

Edit: disregard.

Christians are so annoying some of them alwsys playing a victim people target them because they believe in true god or somebody is jelaous bs while constantly are in people face we demand you believe what we believe.that is why libs are so anti chrisrianity because christians will adjust them selfs to anything for you to notice them
if you let the bottom of the barrel define Christianity for you then you are intellectually missing deep and authentic religion and theology that justifies MOST of what the left stands for.

don't let bigots that are the enemy of Christianity and atheists who dishonestly insist on the bigoted perspective define what Christianity is as defined by the words of Christ.

I think we were addressing the hypocrisy of some that claim such
Really?
"...you have got a large part of the left having bought the lie of materialism and the nihilism and meaninglessness that leads to...."

Eh, kinda complicated. The day started in 2009, but was also placed around the time of Easter.

The frequency of Easter landing on March 31 is higher than any other day around it. It almost seems like a troll job against Christians.

Maybe Christians can 'love thy neighbour' on Easter now and again? :)

Trump sells bibles. Biden does this. Would be awesome to see Jesus flog them both out of the temple.

Did somebody say flogging?

I would put that more of a general on both sides. In reality... Christianity is loving others even when you disagree. There is no racism because God created each person. True Christianity is not going to church. It's living what's written. We are talking in the total context of Christianity

Another thing for people to cry about when it literally doesn't affect their life whatsoever.

It's truly amazing how fragile some people are.
