10/10, shows my age but I saw this movie
when I was seven, scared the s**t out of me.

I was 9 and I legit was scared of the water for a few summers afterwards. Even in fresh water lakes where I knew there weren’t any sharks, I wouldn’t go any deeper than waist deep.

Scary movie, and very well done.

LOL I was scared of a fish pond after that movie.
I remember the scene where they out at night
and across this boat well when head with the popped out I remember holding on my mom screaming.

Good times.

Masterpiece.

It did what no slasher or supernatural horror ever could. Gave me the creeps well into adulthood . Any time I stepped into the water for a long time, hell, even now, I hear that damn music.

Spielberg crafted this film to perfection imo.
