Just curious, did you read the court case? There is a lot more to it. As I said in the previous thread, it was pretty obvious the girls had a strong case and that GDP was fucked. They "made money and ran a business" using business practices that would open them up to litigation no matter what the product is. You say "he paid them", but compensation was negotiated under completely different circumstances. It can be corroborated by prior employers and obviously all of the plaintiffs who were told the video would not be put on the net. Naive by them - of course, but GDP puts the videos up themselves on several sites, including free sites to advertise for their paid site. Now there are two arguments there - would the girls have even gone through with it based on those circumstances, but at bare minimum, compensation wasn't agreed upon under those terms. So "he paid them" isn't really accurate as it doesn't represent compensation for what actually happened and produced revenue for GDP.

This case would have been a lot more difficult if there were not several plaintiffs and/or prior employees who revealed the tactics. I really don't understand how people can hate this type of lawsuit. Most that say they think it's bullshit likely didn't read it or understand what was going on. Many have said it just sets a precedent where the girls do not have to take responsibility for their actions. How can that not be applied to GDP based on the evidence? Any business that does a bait and switch like that should be open to litigation and take responsibility for their actions as well.

What do mean by blame though? I blame the guys for their illegal business practices and for being scumbags. The women should win the lawsuit.

Doesn’t change the fact that these women were incredibly naive. I mean that cover story is ridiculous. A private buyer in Australia? Come on now. They’re also mostly giant whores that were on that site.

The scammer went to great lengths to make that story believable too. They had multiple people tell them the same story all of seemingly decent moral character. They had multiple women on call and ready to provide testimony that nothing they had ever appeared in made it to the net. They were told the DVD's were encrypted and could not be copied and that there was a singular buyer who was willing to pay good money for the production of them.

The contract was written in such legalize that it was very difficult to understand what was being said, given to them at that last minute right before the shoot and the women were rushed into it.

At worst you can blame the women for not being intelligent but then again that is part of why laws against fraud exist.

I still have my copy, plus I still have my ps2 set up, ready to go. My friend and I still play it, but we play street fighter 3: third strike more. I also recently played through Resident Evil 4

I think 3rd strike is a better game all around, but I actually like Alpha 3 better as well. I like the cast of fighters better. I have my psx (ps1) still hooked up as well, haha.
