Not messing around:

Mori missed weight by 3.7 pounds and she will begin her fight with a red card, which is a 50 percent deduction from the judging criteria. If Mori finishes the fight, it will be ruled a no contest. If her opponent wins, the result will be official.

You want to deter people from missing weight? This is the way.

What does a "50% reduction" mean in terms of scoring? Is that something that the judges need to take into consideration? Like you need to have a 10-5 round to win??? (And I guess you can't actually technically win anyway?)

What's the point of even taking the fight at this point?

Money still for fighting? Doing the right thing? I don't know. I see what you mean of course.

I mean there's pretty much no chance of winning if it goes to the scorecards, and don't these red cards affect the pay as well? I imagine it would chump change. You "win" but its a No Contest and you get even less money.

That all makes sense on why. I mean there has to be a compelling reason even if it's personal.

Oops, I guess fights already started happening, but they're not on the Rizin live PPV yet.

oh fuck i thought these were fucking tomorrow!! Where can I watch this playa
