Got some friends in CA that say there was a few hotels that allowed it to be taken over by homeless. Within 3 months most rooms were damaged, vandalized by the homeless themselves. Not to mention accidental fires involved with drug usage gone wrong (?). Which the repairs fell on the tax payers.

So maybe the governments of these states see these immigrants as future productive people of society? And are willing to bring them in even if it pisses off the current residents?

I'd rather close the border to these migrants also but it's a little too late.
