Simple diet help

Sup guys, I am pretty new at this forum thing but I want your opinions and help on my diet, I namely want to know what are the best foods to eat before an MMA/ Muay Thai style workout I workout 2 hours a day about 4 times a week and I really want to make sure im eating what I need to in order to perform my best thanks guys. Also, give as much info on when i should eat it to give my body time to take it in.
 
Lots of carbs and protein, with a bit of fat.

Here's what I have been eating before MMA practice lately:
2 packets of instant oatmeal
3 Chicken cutlets with ketchup

Realistically, anywhere from 40-100g of carbs and 30g+ of protein is probably a good bet.
 
Different people will react differently, so total kCal, protein and fat will vary, but I believe that a good amount of complex carbs are essential. I also make sure to avoid dairy, but ymmv. I eat something like a almond butter and banana sandwich on wheat toast.
 
Anything with a balance of fat, carbs and protein. It really depends on how much you eat, what your overall diet looks like (in terms of total macronutrients consumed), etc.
