Add a 235-240 lb Cruiserweight and bump up HW to 280. Lots of HWs would be better at Cruiser, and the big beasts can all play in the HW division. Stipe, JDS, and Bones are natural Cruisers, while Brock, Beast and Francis could rule the big class. Before you say it can’t be done, you remember there was a time when WW was the lightest class.

125, 140, 155, 170, 185, 200, 215,265
or
135,150,165,180,195,210,265
or
130, 145,160,175,190,205, 220, 265

HW only sucks because the gap is too large. They need to split the HW into at least 2 parts.

Manlette divisions have such small gabs that eating a burger or taking a shit can put you in a different weight class, yet HW has a 60 pound range.

I like it as it is .......But 163 would be ok

So splitting a weak division into 2 divisions is your solution lol

Needs a cruiserweight division: 206-225.

Open-weight.

Put all the crazy bastards in there and have some freakshow fights. Diaz vs. Diaz can kick it all off.

In all seriousness, the UFC needs less divisions, not more.

I think if you train BJJ, boxing, MMA or muay thai whatever you know the jump from 170-185-205 is far too big the amount of middlers in that is a lot if you are 195 you might be a big guy but too small for 185 but the cut to 170 is too much for example
HW could use some tweaking with a CW division added in but i dont think the difference between a 230lb fighter and 265lb fighter is all that bad the weight disparage seems to taper off higher the weight as humans can only get so strong and so fast

The one thing I like about weight classes, is if I see it say Featherweight or lower, I know it's going to be a manlet fight. Best to avoid.

Midget < 5'3
Manlet 5'4 - 5'6
Low Center of Gravity 5'7 - 5'9
DC and Friends 5'10 - 6'
Alpha 6'1 - 6'4
Bean stalk > 6'5

Life's not fair though. The organizations need people to lose as much as they need people to win.
