Just been debating it with the mandem on whatsapp. If I'm being honest I'd find it funny if it came from a friend (black or white) who I knew wasn't ignorant, because we'd be laughing at the ignorance of it. When I heard "racist tweet", I thought it'd be a lot worse.

However, he's a public figure and should know better. I'm sure if someone made a stereotypical Jewish joke, he'd be offended. He posted a pic of Corbyn next to Hitler because of the anti-semitism issue, so he's known to get overly defensive and try to start a witch hunt as a result.
