sport will be fine and Mcgregor will bounce back, maybe this will even make him hungry again. agree izzy is a cringelord and bones is a psychopath too. love watching both fight though

Who cares about PPV numbers is Dana White, Conor was a terrible champion, ruined two divisions and cheery picked his fights.

People said this after Brock and the UFC ended up ok. I don't think huthuggers realise that the the world doesn't revolve around Conor.

His decline started as soon as he started taking time away from MMA and having extended breaks

I think against Mendes was the last time we saw the up and coming hungry Mcgregor before all the fame, hype and money started to get to him
 
I was bored of the Conor show a long time ago. And ask 10 randos on the street and you'd be lucky if two of them even know who he is. Nobody cares about mma.

The sport turned into a trash circus a while ago.
And Conor's career ending fight was with Khabib, btw. He is damaged goods.
 
It is great for the sport. The only people who have a problem with this are Dana (good, he was licking his lips at Conor and ignored Dustin, fuck him), Conor (couldn’t care less) and Conor fans (a disgrace to the sport, most of them can fuck off).

The belt will now be challenged for by legitimate fighters who have earned their way there and will defend the belt. It’s a great day for MMA

Lmao. Every star left and the UFC survived. Chuck is gone, Brock is gone, GSP is gone, Nick is gone, Anderson is gone, Ronda is gone, Conor left multiple times, Khabib is gone. There will always be guys, personalitites and rivalries that do well. The UFC showed they can pull great numbers without having to rely on Conor. Before and after.

Yup. Conor isn't even his best win.

When you actually look at Conor's record, he hasn't actually done as much in the sport as people think he has - it's literally that Aldo KO and not much else. And that KO was a million to one shot, not an accurate measure of how good Conor is.

Khabib's fanbase is still here so there will still be a bunch of "toxic casuals". Only Conor's are going away for the time being.
