Tony Ferguson being a POS

tony was gym shopping. Dude knew he had a history of hurting people but figured they’d give him a shot. During drilling Dude told Tony he was recovering from neck surgery and asked him to be careful. They were working kimuras and Tony cranked on his neck with leg scissors.

You're a true G, thank you sir

He definitely has mental issues, a very dark future for him when he leaves the sport if he doesn't get help.

Yep same with sean strickland, possibly jon jones, and mike perry

I did some time as a peer counselor at a psychiatric hospital so I know that, but he exhibits more paranoid schizophrenia behaviors.

The whole "something is on the walls, and fireplace", throwing holy water on his wife, calling her a witch is not bipolar behaviors.
Well my wife is bipolar and also had mania and psychosis couple of times and they make you delusional

Bipolar actually does often cause paranoia, i have a relative who says and does crazy stuff during her manic episodes, and this is without alcohol abuse which Tony does. I imagine it can be hard to distinguish between various mental illnesses. Schizophrenia is generally much harder to control, I don't think Tony could sustain a (largely) successful MMA career if he were schizophrenic.

Being paranoid during a manic episode is not the same as digging your walls out and throwing holy water on people tbf sir.

She never dug the walls out or threw holy water on you calling you a witch.
Things like that are telling to be honest.

Btw, I know its hard sometimes and I commend you for sticking with her sir.

If we are being honest, that dude's testimony doesn't do shit to establish any sort of character portrait of Tony. If you have a sore fucking neck, just skeep the kimura and neck endangering activity altogether. He said it himself, Tony wasn't even pulling on it (which he was trying to avoid), just squeezing it, which is part of the routine...and this porn stache nobody gets angry. And he has all of these preconceived notions that Tony is a scumbag. Basically, he manifested exactly what he imagined Tony would be. I'm not buying any of this bullshit.
Do you not understand? Lemme try to explain it.

Kimura is an arm lock. There IS no neck issue. He's saying Tony went EXTRA and leglocked his neck as part of the control. He wasn't pulling THE KIMURA, he was just SQUEEZING THE NECK WITH HIS LEGS. That's not "part of the routine."

He was doing a drill that should have been no problem for the injury, but not only added something specific to the drill that would affect the guys injury, but torqued specifically on that addition and not the drill itself.

So going after his arm hurt his neck do you even know what a Kimura is? lol what an asshole my neck hurts so he went for a knee bar!! ASSHOLE that guy. he he
I'm adding you to this response since you're missing the point and need this revisited

Like i said, i've seen my bipolar relative do things very similar to that. It's really scary and quite crazy, people think bipolar is just sad/happy, no it's legit a scary illness.

It also doesn't make sense because people roll when they're hurt all the time, a good sparring partner adjusts how hard they go based on how you and the other person are feeling and the guy disclosed his injury. Tony knew what he was doing.

I've rolled with guys who don't keep themselves cool. It's not a GOOD excuse, but it's a usual one.

That DOESN'T cover what happened here, cuz if Tony IS just going hard, then he have been torquing the arm too. This sounds specifically targeted

A training partner talking about how Tony tried to intentionally hurt him.

Tony has always come across like a POS to me, between the Verdum situation, how he treated that journalist who asked him about mental health, and all his weird bizarre behavior. Why does the MMA community give him a pass for being a jerk?

Because we are here to watch fights, not buy into all the outside drama like a 12 year old girl.

This is dumb, people root for/against fighters for their perceived personality all the damn time. Izzy is a case in point.
