Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

"if you were a democrat in 2008, you still have to be one in 2024!"

says a lot..

It wasnt clear, because there are moderate liberals singing the praises of Bush era Republicans as if they didnt usher in this fascism
I mean yeah, those goofies are out there, but the revisionist libs aren't saying bush Republicans were pro choice, pro LGBT, pro taxing corporations and pro environmental regs 🤣 in the context of him replying to that other poster it was about as satirical and ironic as can be. But I get it's getting harder to distinguish that in current day

Looks like I will be shopping at Lowes an tractor supply a lot more.

Nov 28 (Reuters) - Republican mega-donor Bernie Marcus said on Tuesday he would likely still give money to Donald Trump's 2024 presidential bid if the former president was convicted of a crime - but the billionaire does not plan to be one of his biggest financial backers.

Marcus, a co-founder of home improvement retailer the Home Depot (HD.N), announced earlier this month that he was supporting Trump, the runaway frontrunner for the 2024 Republican nomination contest that kicks off on Jan. 15 in Iowa.

Ken Langone also sounds like a shmuck when I hear him on TV. I don't think either one actually have much to do with Home Depot these days though.

The George W. Bush republicans were notably pro choice, pro lgbtq rights, pro higher taxes on the wealthy, pro environmental reform, and pro gun control. The Biden admin is almost a mirror image of them.
Take it from a guy who was throwing punches with and protesting against those bush republicans back in those early 2000s- this is absolutely not true.

Donald Trump, champion of 2008 Democrat principals lmao you fucking lunatic

again...you're loosely connecting things that don't belong. broadly speaking, trump is GOP and GOP today (not the rhino side) is closer to representing pre-woke democrat policies than actual democrats therefore that's what i support. you're a funny one :)

Oh fuck off. What were the two most impactful Democrat policy positions in 2008 for Obama? Instituting healthcare coverage for all and repealing the Bush tax cuts. How do Trump's (and thus the GOP's) policy positions in 2024, which include getting rid of the Affordable Care Act with no replacement, and cutting taxes for the rich even more, fit with those 2008 democrat policies?

You support whatever Trump tells you to. That's it.

The Don't Say Gay party: champion of democratic ideals

I think this is probably a bit but how do you square the GOP’s anti choice and anti environment policies with the idea that they are somehow like 2008 democrats? I also don’t understand how the argument that your politics aren’t changing means you’re still a liberal?bIn the 1959 5% of Americans supported interracial marriage, by 89 that number was 48%. It’s as if you’d be arguing because liberals were against interracial marriage in 59 they betrayed their principles by supporting it later.

if you were a 2008 Obama voter who now supports the abject bigotry of Trumpism that says more about who you really were in 2008 than anything else.

again....connecting words with things you just made up. "trumpism" lol.

dems used to stand for:

equality
individual rights and freedoms
right to private property
freedom of speech

but you kissed that goodbye and embraced socialist/communist values. equity over equality, greater good over individualism, private property is "whiteness", "words are violence". and you wonder why people switched sides?

Ex- presidents having some fun. Trump would join them, but diapers in board shorts is a really bad look.
Trump isn’t allowed to come. Those parties are only for ex presidents who were re elected and didn’t lose to a senile old man.

Lol@being okay with being labeled a Democrat when the perception was they were completely Neo-Libs. All you're revealing is that you were always to the right on the Overton Window, and you dont know the meaningl of most of the political terms you use.
