TUF 25: Redemption, Ep. 12 Discussion

I was genuinely surprised to see Garbrandt at the end of the episode. I completely forgot he was on this show this episode.

Jesse Taylor is 7-0 in the TUF house.

It really is a ultimate redemption story, with him getting removed from the finals years ago for vandalising, but now fighting back and getting himself a second opportunity. Perfect winner in terms of the shows theme. A lot better then Krause winning.

I think it was bullshit that Dana removed him from the finals to begin with. He could have just fined him and made him pay for the damage to the limo. All he did was break a window and ran around a hotel/casino barking at waitresses. Way worse shit happened at the TUF house pretty much every season.

Dana sabotaged his career.

Eh.. I understand the punishment.. but I don't understand how Jesse never made it back to the UFC and why it took so long for Dana to give him another shot. Dude dominated the competition this season.

I'm not a fan of Krause, but BangBro and Seth are just wastes of space. While someone like JT or Joe Daddy really got redeemed, most of the red team just blew their 2nd chance, and wasted everyone's time whining and mean-mugging. I hope they don't put on a bunch of wolf-ticket "grudge matches" on the finale.

Julian and Seth embarrassed themselves and their families on TV. Came off as huge losers.

I was shocked that Justin got involved as well - he usually seems more reserved and cool. Came across as a loser as well.

These are grown ass men, not teenagers. It was embarrassing how easily Tim got under their skin.

Why are people saying Tim started shit?? Did Seth not clearly say stuff to them first? That was embarrassing as fuck. Trying to fight a Flyweight, LOL. & why the fuck was Justin so livid? Holy shit, all those guys came off horribly there. Seth trying to poke James' eyes out too...like fuck you, dude.

Was that Justin who was almost completely out of his pants while they were all pushing those guys out the door? And Julian becoming so disinterested that he just stood around picking at his elbow while Krause and Seth were chestpuffing at each other.

Remember when half the TUF losers from past seasons were on the undercard, now there's only two guys this time. That's probably why. I still think Julian would draw some viewers.

Wow, I thought Krause would sweep the competition pretty easily. I think he'll perform a lot better with a full camp though.

I agree. Justin seemed very neutral to shenanigans on both seasons, and this drunken outburst was all the more weird (and disappointing) because of that.

I'm super happy Dana punished people who behave like assholes when drunk. Coming from a heavy drinking culture I really hate when people think alcohol gives you permission to be a dick.

Surprised Tom vs. Krause (terrible matchup) is the only other fight on the card from this season. People want to see a few of these other guys as well. I know I want to see Lane fight again.

You sound like a real lame-ass.

I think everyone does.

Yea they should've made Lane fight Seth so hopefully one if not both of them get KOed. I thought Hayder should've gotten a fight on the finale too, he seems like a good guy.

Wish they fed Seth to krause Tomo. Shut that dbag up

Hangin' with the boyzzzzzzzz

That stuff is the most cringe thing ever. TAM look like such a bunch of douchebags. You can just imagine those guys showing up at the bar picking fights with people.

At the time - UFC was significantly more popular/on the upswing

Dana felt arrogant enough to attempt to steer which style would dominate the octagon. I.E. Jesse was not viewer friendly. I remember in other fights/seasons around that time Dana would openly complain that guys were simply humping for 2 Rounds.
