i didnt realize francis is 37. he needs to cash in while he still can.
that is young for HW’s standard, not to mention Francis started his career late and barely take damage during those fights. Didn’t Foreman became HW undisputed champ at the age or 50?

Nowhere did I write "they let you skip a fight if you get a finish". It can work out that way though.

The regular season is two fights.

Fighter A wins his first fight by a first round finish, earning 6 points. He then gets injured and misses his second fight.

Fighter B wins both of his two regular season fights by decision, also totaling 6 points.

In this scenario, both fighters have 6 points and make the playoffs, despite Fighter A only fighting once and Fighter B fighting twice.

Alternatively (although no one would ever risk it, it is theoretically possible), Fighter A could achieve his 6 point finish in his first fight, while Fighter B gets his 3 point decision in his first fight. A healthy Fighter A could then make the conscious decision to sit out if he thinks Fighter B will win another decision and not surpass him in points.

Pretty sure that if you miss a fight through injury you're removed from the season, at least that's how it's worked so far.

You're definitely not allowed to sit out intentionally.

Wilder deads people with much sharper, smaller punches(when he's not seeing red going for the kill). Dude has the touch of death like Alex Pereira.

Francis looks like he's swinging ford escorts at you.

Honestly don't know which is scarier.

The experts were completely right. The fight was obviously a fix that tyson was ment to last out for saudi money. Ngannou tried to make a big name for himself which i cant blame him forml. But shocked iron mike allowed it.he couldnt hit fury if it was competitive

How would they not allow it? This fight clearly shows Ngannou belongs….
He doesnt really. He saw a dirty opportunity and tried to take it. Any top 30 fighter in a weak division ends him in a real competition.

Once Jon Jones won the belt at HW, On the UFC and other UFC Facebook pages, I was surprised to see a lot of people calling Ngannou a coward who left the UFC to duck Jon.

It seems they either forgot, or weren't aware of the fact Ngannou left the UFC well before Jon was making any real moves to HW.
Jon has been "moving to heavyweight" for 10 years..... he waited until Ngannou left before he finally went up lol.

I don't know if he's on coke or not but I have said all along, I've seen boxers do the "now that I've cleaned up I'm a changed man" act a lot and most of the time I've seen it, it only lasts for a fight if that. Most of them seriously derail their careers and NEVER get back to their old form. Some manage to eak out a few good wins but most that I've seen are never the same after having a serious addiction problem. Now, that was the fighters from other eras and how that would compare today with the lack of talent, I'm not sure. I would not be surprised if Fury is on the stuff again and a guy that fragile minded, this performance will not help him. Coke ruined a lot of great careers and even the guys like Pernell Whitaker who still dominated damaged themselves with the stuff. However, most just went away and never came back all the way the same. I've read heartbreaking stories that aaron pryor lost 20 pounds from his fighting weight and was even fighting in the streets for pocket money at one point, SI printed that story and I hope it wasn't true.

They have already invested in them, and have the option to invest more. If they want to make PFL work, they certainly can, but they gotta drop the season format thing. They need to go get the Bellator roster and fill up big cards throughout the year, while they use Jake Paul and Ngannou when they can.

The Guy from the Telegramm Channel is in Touch with some very big streamers. One of them got a invinite + Money but he declined since He doesnt wanna Support the Saudi Dicks and he doesnt Like the amount of coks there..wouldnt be suprised.
so, women showing some but is bad but coke is ok? sounds odd.

This forum was full of haters that now have egg on their faces, Poor pathetic fools.

Dana is crying his eyes out, ha ha ha ha

Francis > Dana
100% i remember everyone shitting on him when he chose to leave the UFC. i don't blame the haters, for, they know no better and are followers. They were told to hate, and as such, they hated. The media told them to question Francis' decisions, as they questioned. Dana told them he was a goof, and they believed he goof'd. Francis is the fucking man. The worlds best combat sports fighter of the modern era, without a doubt 100% shit.

people forgot that he faced a Golden Gloves champion
and dominated the striking in their second fight

The worst thing was that Ngannou looked like the boxer in this ring and Fury like the amateur.

He had worse punching form than Francis.
He was slower, dropped his right hand more, broke his stance and balance all the time and he couldn't put together a combination.

He didn't have any of the qualities you except to shine in contrast to an amateur.
He looked more like Connor and Francis more like Floyd.

Fury v.s. Ngannou
How does a guy who has never boxed professionally in his life just step into a ring after a few months training and perform like this against a man who is supposed to be the most elite heavyweight boxer on the planet? If you have a brain you recognize that this is pretty embarrassing.

Many of us have been saying for years that we don't actually have any idea how talented this new generation of boxers actually is. This is in part because they never proved themselves against the older generation. Mayweather retired undefeated, the Klitchko brothers completely dominated the heavyweight division for years and retired on top of their game. The newer generation of boxers never proved themselves against anybody. They are C level fighters who simply beat each other. There was no rightful passing of the torch. Everyone knows Wilder lacks basic Boxing skills and yet he was on top for years. Everyone was calling Errol Spence the next Sugar Ray Leonard until he was completely embarrassed. This new generation of Boxers is utterly subpar, and many of us have been saying it for a while.

HW boxing sucks and is in a terrible era, we've all been saying this for ages. Also, as i've said before many times, Fury beat Klit at the very end of his career, beat Wilder who only has a straight, and... whyte? Casuals convinced themselves that beating Wilder made Fury some GOAT level boxer when in reality he was never even close. Ali, Holmes, Liston, Foreman, Frazier, Tyson, Lewis all beat Fury with ease and i'm not just saying this because of last night's fight, i've said this for years.

Now... on the topic of the current gen of boxers sucking - other divisions have great boxers, it's just HW that sucks ass. Naoya and Crawford made their opponents look like novices, Morrell and Ennis look incredible but need big names to fight them, Beterbiev is one of the most devastating boxers of all time, i could go on.

Current gen boxing is great, but HW boxing is dead without Usyk.

yes we have, honestly depressing. I'm thinking of the feeling my buddy tells me he has when his favorite football team loses, just "UGHHH".

No matter what you say, Francis won tonight. Tonight MMA got is victory over boxing, in boxing. The amount of support, the amount of positive words, the amount of people saying Francis won on the shoshuls, it is insane. Everyone knows Francis won that fight. This just adds to the boxing is corrupt narrative 100%. This is a win for Francis tonight. MMA by relation, is absolutely vindicated, elevated, and can no longer be looked at as inbred criminals, willingly doing stupid shit for bud light. MMA fighters have the skill, have the knowledge, have the stand up, to trade and go toe to toe with legitimate boxers. MMA won tonight, Francis won tonight. Awesome to see. We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that but why question is, why was he competitive? I guess this proves the crazy levels involved with MMA. No way Fury will ever step into an octagon with Frank now as he claimed he would. He wouldn't last 30 seconds.

Mike Tyson's first impression of Tyson Fury was that he was unimpressed with him technically. But over time he came to assume there must be something to him simply because he kept winning. But against who? The current Boxing world is making blind assumptions about a crop of fighters who are of unproven quality compared to previous generations.
