Crime U.S. is on course for the largest one-year rise in its murder count ever recorded.

What's the relationship between riots and murders though? A few people were killed (and some of those were murders) during actual riots but surely not enough to cause a significant uptick in national murder stats.
It’s not so much the riots themselves that cause a statistical difference but the general lawlessness that follows. Look at how anarchic a place like Kenosha was.

But like I said, my city for example had cut back on policing and we had no riots and generally did not tolerate that, but we had a sharp spike in murders. I was reading about another city, Baton Rouge I think, which had a spike in murder even though overall crime is down, which suggests that it is a small amount of hardened criminals committing homicides.

It isn’t just one or the other.

Look at the violent crime statistics that happen in cities that have large scale rioting and anti police protests.

Look at the increase in murders in 68, 92, 2016 and 2020.

Look at what happens in cities like Ferguson, Baltimore, Detroit, Philadelphia, Los Angeles in 1992, NYC from the 60's to early 90's through urban decay.

This has happened historically every time, rioting and looting leads to destruction of local and small businesses, leading to them leaving and less jobs and a lower quality of life for people in those communities making the economics of the area worse along with White flight. Attacking the police leads to police officers not responding to crime or being softer on crime along with distrust of the police in the community which also leads to more violent crime due to the fact that violent criminals and gangs are able to continuously commit crime without being sent to prison and be repeat offenders. If the media and local communities promote violent criminals like Dreajson Reed, or Antwon Rose Jr or Breonna Taylor or Alvin Cole as heroes or martyrs or good and make excuses for them, what happens to that community? If the mainstream media and pop culture which is not owned by Black people, says that people like Snoop Dogg, Cardi B and Lizzo are good role models for the black community, what do you think happens to children who grow up idolizing people like this? The onset and promotion of gangsta rap came at a time when the countries murder rates sky rocketed to it's highest levels recorded. Gangsta rap was not created by Black people, it was created by a rich Jewish man from Hollywood named Jerry Heller and promoted on Viacom which was run by Sumner Redstone. The community who owns and controls America's pop culture and mainstream media has caused tremendous damage to America's Black community. This blacklivesmatter movement is just the latest tool being used by politicians and the mega corporations and the media and the billionaire oligarch political elites to help actually cause destruction and harm to the black community. The Lyor Cohen's, Jerry Heller's, Rick Rubin's, Lev Blavatnick, George Soros, Susan Rosenberg, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, Cori Bush, AOC, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos of the world have caused tremendous damage to the Black community.

Growing up in NYC you are brainwashed through the public school system to be opposed to gun ownership, you have extremely limited self defense and gun right laws, and you are told to rely on and call the police for personal protection. Well the same politicians who pushed that, also say the police are racist and now seek to defund them and are going softer on crime, and allowing cashless bail and restricting what police officers can do. This leads to a society where criminals have more power and ability, add in a culture that glorifies or accepts crime and where "snitching" is looked down upon and where violent crime is a fact of life and you can see that certain neighborhoods and communities will have massively higher crime rates than other ones.

Ultimately these issues cannot be fixed by the President, they cannot be fixed by social media hashtags and the blm movement causes more harm than good for the Black community. These issues need to be fixed by the Black community itself. People who preach self reliance, discipline, family values, rejecting crime, and helping the local community are the ones who have the best chance to fix it. The blm movement is built on White and Jewish elites pandering to minorities and playing "good cop" and telling them that all their issues are due to bad White racists and that if you just vote them into power they can fix it but they never will and they will only make the situation worse.

The real biggest threats to the Black community in America is violent crime, gangs, drugs, and obesity and health issues related to it. Having role models that are handpicked by rich Jewish elite billionaires or White supremacist elites who run the mainstream media who only further push negative stereotypes of thugs, gang members, obese women, prostitution, drug use, materialism, such as most mainstream Black pop culture figures is harmful to the community. People like Neil Tyson Degrasse or Denzel Washington are helpful.
Cool it with the anti-Semitism

Sorry brother, a pandemic is no excuse to not exercise. You sound weak minded.
For us sherdoggers, A-level athletes, just jogging isn't "exercise". I for one need a gym, a squat rack to curl in and some fly machines to get a chest pump going.
Jogging around construction sites is bad for gains and may get you shot.

LMFAO, that line really got me <Lmaoo>... I don't know if you were joking but I'm sure many guys have thought or said that.

Pull-ups, chin-ups, push-ups with a weighted vest. Deadlifts, squats with a 45 lb bar and some plates. Do all at home. Don’t need anything else, IMO.

The MMA gyms are closed, the other gyms are closed, when the lockdowns first started almost all the weightlifting equipment was sold out and massively overpriced and not everyone has room to build squat racks and lifting platforms and bumper plates.

Also keep in mind the average American has become fat and sedentary and lazy on diet and exercise to begin with, which has helped to cause the obesity epidemic, if you tell them to stay at home and don't let them go to the gym and have it so they are ordering crappy take out fast food they will probably just use it as a further excuse to get fat and this will just accelerate the American obesity increase.

Nothing to see here, nothing to worry about....what!? A cop shot an armed suspect in Chicago!!!!! Rage, mobilize, on the streets to protest violence. STOP KILLING USSSSSSSSSS!!!

Exactly, it’s an “excuse” for the weak minded. There’s plenty you can do to work out at home. Pandemic should’ve accelerated people’s desire to work out since there’s not really much else to do...
