UFC 261 was one of the best cards atleast in recent memory?

Am I wrong to say.... This has been a top 5 event in UFC?

Every fight had some extra fire from Morina to usman.

Some great finishes but we were completely robbed of anything massively entertaining besides the finishes.

The Crute vs Smith fight would have been a barn burner if it hadn't been stopped. Smith was looking very technical but Crute looked like he was ready to make it ugly if it continued.
Weidman fight will go down in legend because of the irony of the finish and Hall possibly finishing two careers in two fights.
Rose got a great finish and looked good doing it. Zhang had a good game plan with the leg kicks but we got robbed of a long technical fight between the two.
Schev did Schev things and that was fun whilst it lasted.
Usman looked great, but I think we were all hoping for an all out brawl.

It was a great card, but everything finished so quick we didn't get any close technical fights to argue over and now all we have are gifs to look at till next time.

Go watch something else. There's billions of hours of streaming services, porn, youtube, twitch.... stop bitching about MMA if you don't wan't to watch it, I wouldn't waste the bullet to put you down if you said "noooo..... I can't watch anymore...."

Just wanted to say the event got put on the front page of drudgereport -- "Fight Night's Back: UFC thrills sellout Florida crowd..." -- That's pretty rare for the shit he runs sometimes.

was a really great card indeed, just bleed god was most satisfied !

only shame was with the chris, but otherwise it was epic and you could tell the crowd being back really pushed the fighters to go hard IMO !

This is top 3 in my opinion. The stories around each fight were amazing. First fight we get an incredible injury that looked like some pressure point old school kung fu stuff. Then we got Uria Hall of all people Anderson Silva-ying Weidman, right after Forest Griffin-ing Silva. The night ends with Masvidal getting sent to the shadow realm, together with the super necessary shots....This is why a love our sport of MMA

No doubt, it had the comb of quality fights and insane “wtf” moments. The only other event I can remember that had this was UFC 189 (Mac x Mendez). That was another absolutely nuts event where all 5 main card fights ended in ko/tko/subs.

Card was stacked on paper, and it ended up being wildly entertaining.

Would gladly illegally stream again!

All the times I paid $70 for a card I was anticipating an event like last night and it has never lived up to those expectations!
