UFC 300 is still better than UFC 200

Anderson Silva was way past his prime, he had already popped put for roids back then and with that broken leg, he also was fighting in a weightclass that wasn't even his, bacl them there was no hype behind it whatsoever

And Brock Lesnar, come on now...

They only have 1 wmma fight in the main card and it's gonna be a banger, it's with Weili
Then in the prelims they have Holm vs Harrison which is not as bad for a prelims

If anything in UFC 200 they have a wmma fight as the main event
I'm just talking about hype value. Brock showing up on a card for 300 would still carry the show. At 200 he was even younger. Him in mid 40s right now would make more people talk than Hill/Pereira. Anderson Silva beat Nick Diaz, many people thought he beat Bisping and he had the biggest moment of the fight. It wasn't really as washed up as he ended up getting, especially perception at the time.

Lets see how the finished product turns out before final comparison.

"better than 200" Thats not saying much. 20 years ago any UFC card was more stacked than this. Having 3 events per month totally dilutes the talent pool because they have to spread the talent over 40 yearly events vs 12. I called this in 2005 on my amazon review for....UFC 55? I forget the event but i said the UFC would go the way of boxing with a good main event and a bunch of C level guys that should be fighting for KOTC or Gladiator challenge. Now those feeder shows are DWCS and fight nights. sport has killed my interest in the sport and rarely do i watch anything besides the numbered events.

OK for the the WWE fans I guess
But you as a real UFC fightter would really look forward for him to be back in a card like this after how many years, with his roids credentcials and with his big age ?

You are talking about on paper, right....the card hasn't happened. All these this is better, there's not been any fights. Has potential to be better. On paper, maybe, maybe not it's all subjective. I just never forget taking a piss break at work and pulling out my phone and seeing Jon was out the rematch with DC, that level of disappointment. Still watch UFC 200 at the Hustler Casino in Gardena California and ate delicious food, I miss those times. I'll wait until the fight actually happens before saying what's better.

I mean it would be hype like Jim Miller has hype for being one 100 and 200. Brock has a history in the UFC. I'm no WWE fan. It would just be a spectacle more than a real fight for him. Either way, casuals run the PPV sales and they would just buy because Brock returned. No doubt Pereira is a real fighter and top of the hill right now.

I'm definitely in the minority, but I think UFC 300 is beyond stacked. It'd be cool if we saw Belal VS Edwards, but I'm very pleased with how it is now, especially with the newly added main event.

who tf cares if he andy got caught using roids or aint in his prime
the fact that he sold 1m ppv buys is more important
because people wanted to watch him

it’s as deep of a card as they’ve ever had but if you just seethe main and co main event you would think it was a B level ppv. That’s the problem

Ufc 200 had stars. Ufc 300 has company men.

I think Jim Miller doing farm work would be a suitable poster for this event.

It's a stacked card but it needed that superstar to cap it off - Conor, Khabib, Jorge, even Ronda, etc.

I'm guessing they intended for it to be Izzy but the Strickland loss ruined it.

Should have gone with Gaethje vs Jorge instead of Max.

Both Ronda and Conor are irrelevant to the title picture. Lol at Masvidal on a 4 fight losing streak. You are asking for an irrelevant fight to headline.

Masvidal is retired and fat, can't make 155, and isn't worthy of any big fights in the first place. Khabib is retired and fat, not to mention UFC 300 is during Ramadan. That you think any of these are even possible is completely delusional.

Can you guys stop underselling Pereira here with these ridiculous fight requests? He's a 2 division champion in 2 different sports. There was massive interest in his last fight and suddenly you people are downplaying his first title defense against a stylistically fun matchup former champ who never lost the belt.

LOL, you came way too aggressive with this. Are you looking for someone to argue with because you're that lonely and attention starved or some shit? Find it somewhere else.

Brock was completely irrelevant to the title picture at 200. No one gives a shit.

When you suggest dumb fights what response do you expect? You're the one disrespecting Pereira with this nonsense. Brock at least was only coming off 2 losses, losing his title and losing to the number one contender. And you're suggesting Masvidal who is 0-4, can't even fight in the division, and probably isn't even a draw anymore. It's insulting.
