Maybe with a boxing promoter. If MMA, the organizations had to be equal in standings and at the moment, the UFC has nothing to gain from going down that path
Glory Kickboxing is looking to co-promote with other organisations aswell.DO you think this could be a possibility in the future? I do.
UFC of today seems more open to trying things out. I dont think theyd split a card or anything but I could see them working with other promotions and possibly feature fighters loaned to them from other promotions the same way that UFC loaned fighters to PRIDE and see what happens.

This year Glory already partnered with organisations in Enfusion and RISE, putting on some events together with them and there were some co-promoted ‘Rivals’ fights on regular Glory events between Glory and Enfusion/RISE fighters aswell.
Not likely to happen, but having Glory/UFC cross-over fights would be cool and interesting!

And btw Glory Kickboxing Executive Vice-Chairman ‘Scott Rudmann’ expressed his interest in cross-fights with boxing and MMA promotions.Yeah it def would be.
I think his experience with Pride really soured Dana to the whole idea tbh. He gave Chuck for major tournament, he and Randy both commentated for them at different times to promote super fights that never materialized. I really think Dana getting nothing in return after giving so much made him close off in that area.PRIDE was bigger than UFC and they still allowed several of their fighters to compete and were open to more. Also they co promoted with K1,and did sometimes have guys from other promotions come on
Yeah but now they are in control, yknow? Plus its not all Dana's decision.I think his experience with Pride really soured Dana to the whole idea tbh. Right,I think if it happened it would start out like that. Also UFC,and MMA is different than when Fedor wanted to co-promote.I doubt in the MMA world they co-promote. They wouldn't co-promote with Fedor and it was the only thing which stopped him appearing in UFC.
I do however think loaning fighters might be something that is possible. UFC already loan their fighters out to other orgs (they call them development deals where UFC signs them, supports them while they get regional experience). I don't know about it happening in the other direction but I could see it happening with a clause if they win the UFC can buy them out of the their other contract for x dollars.

UFC is more likely to poach another promotion’s talent than to cooperate with them…
UFC has too much of a head start.UFC doesn't seem to care that much about talent, the organization is watered down with a lot of relative bad fighters, so much so you're seeing a pretty steady trend of journeyman level fighters in top 10 positions and even fighting for titles.
Sometimes I feel like the sport moves too slowly for an organization to reach a point where it can compete with the UFC on a promotional and viewership scale but when it comes to talent? Well just look at Pride, WEC and Strikeforce those organizations had loads of elite talent and Bellator probably does too. They just can't cultivate and market it into a legitimate, exciting organization it seems impossible almost.
Im not saying they should straight up split a card, but I can see that they might have fighters from another org they might be interested in just bringing in,or temporarily exchange talent, just to see. I remember they loaned Mirko to Dream for a little while, although I dont recall all the details there. But why does the UFC need to co-promote. They are bigger than any promoter in MMA and would just be giving a leg up to them. I think they would allow the promoter they were signed to get a cut, but not literally co-promote. There isn't that much benefit in sports to co-promotion, it always better if one takes the lead and other sits in the background.
