Who gives a shit, its not even her tattoo. And he had a good explanation for keeping it.

Should be totally fine according to sherdog. I mean its only a freaking Neo-Nazi tattoo after all!

Its not like the guy has a BLM related tattoo or something. Now that is something we in Sherdog would definitely not be okay with!

Something that racist would definitely be condemned in here....

This is just me, but when I see someone like Cain v with “brown pride” tat across his chest, I put that just 1 smudge below someone with neo nazi shit.

IMO they can put whatever they want, just be ready for the backlash and the thought it provokes.

I just hope nobody who is triggered by this is wearing a Che Guevara shirt.

We have to acknowledge that people can have fucked up beliefs at one time - so far as to even getting swastika tattoos - and completely change and distance themselves from those views over time.

I'm more interested in his reasons why he can't have them covered up or removed. He just said it doesn't work for him, or something like that. Well, why? Expand on that. Is it a cost issue? What's the hold up?

If you're not a neo-Nazi, why would you want to go through life with swastika tattoos? You'd have to think it would be priority #1 for you to get them removed. What purpose could they possibly serve?

Former cop shoots unarmed Black 7 times, does time because nobody believes his story.

Angela Lee: 'LOL it's just a prison tattoo'

Refuses to cover it up with transparent bullshit excuse.

At least he realized that this shit is about to get serious and hurt Angela Lee's career, so he tried a thought-out response. Amazing how he clearly sees himself as the victim there.

A Nazi boy and a KGB girl, that's a new twist on Romeo and Juliette.

" I think we're alone now.. there doesn't seem to be anyone around.. I think we're alone now, I know you can't be seen with a man that's brown"

Song always kills me and reminds me of when I was crushing on a legit 1488 neo Nazi girl as a teenager.

Jesus the white nationalists on this forum are hilarious.

Seano and friends meeting behind closed doors.
"Uh oh, a white man is in trouble!"
"Why tho?"
"For sporting a pro genocidal, anti american, hate group tattoo my grandpa almost died trying to fight"
"Yeah that's kinda bad I guess... But how can we deflect this?"
"Mexicans?"
"Mexicans"

He says covering them up is not an option as the laser removal and coverup procedures will leave his arm "looking like a dark mass of shit." No offense dude, but it already looks like a dark mass of shit. You're married, your wife is in the UFC and your admittedly regrettable tatts have landed you both in a figuratively dark mass of shit. Book an appointment and live tweet the laser removal. Your arm already looks stupid but with the assistance of a removal specialist it won't look racist. That's important.

Hopefully he is honest in his statement and maybe the reason he doesn't remove them is to let them serve as a reminder.

well you should tell that to Hillary Clinton and the democrats since they defended Robert Byrd. you know, the DEMOCRAT senator that served from 1959-2010 (longest serving senator in history), that was in the KKK and a recruiter for the KKK

funny, hillary referred to him as her mentor but no one cared when she ran for president :) also funny that democrat voters kept re-electing a former KKK member/ recruiter for 51 yrs as senator...

so make sure you dont forgive any democrats for electing a guy that LITERALLY SINGED UP FOR THE KKK :)

What. About. Ism.

Saw this in the heavies, figured we could actually get a decent discussion in the War Room about it. Maybe, eh probably not. Still a karate subforum after all

Anyways, Andrea Lee's husband and coach has legit Nazi prison tattoos. Not some questionable cross or design that some maintain is a white supremacy symbol and others say is just an innocent Celtic roots or simply a cool shape he liked. I'm talking a swastika on one arm, and "SS" on the other arm

Andrea says people need to get over themselves. They were a mistake from the past that he has learned and grown from. They have a black and asian guy living with them so they're not racist, and he typically wears long sleeves to cover them up but they forgot about the 20 year old tats when out at a lake day and she posted the tweet. After seeing the swastika, people went digging and found the SS tat in an older pic

As to why he wouldn't cover up an old tattoo that no longer defines who he is-

Cover up of something so dark would A) look like shit and B) gives him the ability to reach out to current inmates who can perhaps become reformed and no longer hateful like him. So he'll keep the hugely racist markings on his arms

So what do you say Sherdog? 20 year old prison tats. Condemn as a Nazi, call an idiot for not covering up, or feel that they can be ok and maybe even useful as a scar to show the road a person traveled to get to where they are today

Bonus points- Would your viewpoint be the same of an old "Allaha Akbar" tattoo on a person?
((Possibly not the best comparison, but ISIS is too recent to be a fair comparison))

it amazing how not this is a big deal not before when she was fighting. it not like she just started fighting yesterday.

I feel bad for her and her husband. I have no doubt that they guy really regrets getting the tattoo and I dont think he is racist.
If that was true why wouldn't he have it removed or altered?

Different culture, hard to judge.
