Will Disney keep the UFC around after contract expires this year?

With kids being their kids target market, and this being true for their extensions like Marvel and Star Wars...

How will this affect the UFC?

The new owners are looking to go up 3 times in their asking price from about $120 million a year to $450 million...

In a memo sent out by CEO Rupert Murdoch addresding the future of Fox Sports, which highlighted Fox Sports as th home of NFL, MLB, NASCAR, and the Big 10... there was no memtion of the UFC, which has been a part of Fox since 2011.

Will Disney endorse mixed martial arts?

UPDATE:
- "Fox Sports is not a part of Disney"
- "ESPN however is, and could possibly be the UFC's new home."
- "TS is retarded"
- TS is also apparently the only sherbro who enjoyed The Last Jedi

Disney got the online streaming platform Hulu / movie rights / IP content etc.

They have 0 of the Fox networks.

Probably not, Dana will throw a fit like a Disney princess when they announce it though.

Nah, definitely not happening.

However, Id love to see Mickey Mouse with 6 months training, he'd have Mighty Mouse tapping in the first.

If they had a Mickey Transformer bodyslamming a Goofy Transformer and then transform into a Bud can and a Skoal tin, I suppose I could get behind it.

Disney is the most cut-throat money making business out there.
If they think they can make a buck, they will be all over it.
The problem with Disney is they have too many managers. This is what ruined Star Wars. This diversity clap-trap...

Fox is rumored to be going after WWE since it’s post more consistent numbers than the UFC does. the XFL is supposed to restart in 2020 so it would make sense for Fox to go after the WWE and XFL in a packaged deal. If that happens the ufc could be In trouble if Disney doesn’t want the ufc

ESPN is Disney.

Are they doing flag football and giving everyone a Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season? No...
<DisgustingHHH>

Money Talks.... Let Nate Diaz be on the first card. ;)

Disney owns ESPN. UFC can def be on ESPN. It's just a matter of what happens in the negotiations.

Fox News and Fox Sports were not part of the Disney acquisition. The whole point of the deal for Fox was to take the money and focus on their news and sports ventures.

Thanks for pointing this out. I was completely misinformed.

interesting that fox on their own right is refusing to acknowledge the ufc in their reworked mission statement.
I had incorrectly assumed that it was Disney-influenced after reading the new Fox Sports memo.

Cheers dude.
