True, but Russia's borders have been closed since the last week of March. and their border with China was closed in January. And the virus' growth has been relatively slow in Russia. It is just now starting the explode.

While I appreciate the number of borders is problematic, and that people will continue to interact and spread the disease across those closed borders, that is not the cause of their spike.

Russia response has been inept so far and the results are starting to show.

A) It's not perfectly safe. The drug has already been in use by Lupus patients (who definitely need it) and is already well known to have dangerous side-effects with your heart.
B) It has major drug interactions. People with Covid need to be treated by antibiotics, but chloriquine does not interact well with common antibiotics.
C) There were multiple stories of people who desperately took chloroquine on their own, and had to call poison control / go to the hospital, or died.
D) How are you getting these 100% doctor reports if you can't listen to the mainstream media?

You have to consider the health of the nations that are affected. Tons of fatties here, sadly. Lots of smokers. Combine those two and bam, high numbers. Also going state by state, some are much better. NY brings the average WAY up. Lack of sun and exercise seem to be major factors.

the protocol used by doctors thus far has been widely successful, not just here but all over the world

people took chloroquine from fish tanks, not hydrocloroquine. huge difference. They had no idea what they were doing and died for it.

there's a few very legit doctors who've been documenting their efforts on twitter.

this is one I've been following in particular. Wealth of knowledge he is. It seems there was a petition signed by over 1000 doctors to the FDA touting the wide success in treating patients with hydrocloroquine

in this case, I have more faith in doctors who have the knowledge and experience who are speaking on these things.
