Jump what line? to Aldo, whose 1-2 in his last three?

Zabit is currently fighting Stephens who's ranked #6. Mendes is 1-3 in his last 4 fights. Mendes shouldn't even have been ranked this high after just 1 fight, same with Korean Zombie after he came back.

Mendes is 5, Stephens is 6. Difference is Stephens was active and has a recent resume whereas Mendes was out for years. A win over Stephens should mean more.
 
That was a great fight, Alex showed he is worthy. He would be a fun fight for Max one day

Stephens has always at best been a gate keeper. Mendes has fought for a title and was prior to Conor one of the few guys to really be competitive against Aldo. It's equally why Aldo still has such value as he's still the FW Goat. Those two losses are to Max it's not like he's getting beat by everyone. Will be a good test to see how he goes against Moicano. If he gets passed Moicano Alex should absolutely have the next shot against Aldo.

Mendes was out of action for years though. This is like bragging over a win over BJ Penn.

Stephens just fought Aldo, so if Zabit beats Stephens then Aldo makes sense. He's not fighting Edgar because they're teammates. A fight with Ortega is unlikely because Ortega just had a TS, so by beating Zabit he isn't getting another TS just yet. So it benefits neither.

Bit of a difference between BJ and Mendes mate. That's the point Zabit shouldn't be near a TS yet so let him fight Ortega who needs a few wins to get back to another TS as well.

In every angle you say, there's an element where Zabit is supposed to get derailed. Whereas my route specifically factors that Volkanovski is NOT derailed. So why should Ortega use Zabit as a stepping stool.

I don't mind Zabit fighting Ortega, because Ortega is ranked #1. Either way he should then get the TS after beating Ortega or Aldo.

In such a case, Volkanovski then gets the next TS after beating Moicano.

Zabit's done nothing to deserve a shot. He'd have to destroy Stephens impressively at a minimum.

Yes I said he can fight Ortega if he gets by Stephens because Ortega would beat him and Ortega wouldn't get the next TS afterwards. Beating Stephens isn't impressive when his record is 28-15. Zabit's resume doesn't match up to the Hulks. His best win is what Bochinak or Davis?
