News Walt Harris suspended for 4 years under new anti doping programme

The fake god of 'clean sport' must receive his regular ritual sacrifices of low level athletes to ensure bountiful money harvests for owners and high-level athletes.

A 40-year-old on a 3-fight losing streak makes a good sacrifice.

That also hasn’t fought in 3 years….almost as if he was chosen specifically because they know he’s not going to fight any more….

Except he got caught in the lead up to a fight and it got canceled because of that... so they chose a guy with a fight planned, to sacrifice a guy with no more fights.... logical.

Why is this new anti-doping program taking credit for something that USADA found? The tests are from last year when USADA was doing the testing.

CSAD hasn't caught anyone, this is them trying to make it look legitimate. I doubt they'll ever pop a big name for PEDs. Anybody really think Conor or Jones would ever get busted by this org funded by the UFC?

<36>

Maybe he'll be declared innocent in 6 months and the suspension will get nerfed down but otherwise yeah that's gotta be a wrap on his career, he's already 40 and hasn't fought since June 2021.
Time to go to Poland or russia wherever they dont enforce USADA penalties and fight.

4 years is fucking ridiculous.

Yeah, I once made a satirical thread on here many years ago about how PEDs make you worse, because ironically all the UFC champions are able to fight clean and stay better than all the PED users in their divisions...

Even in the case of Jones, who like Walt Harris also had anastrozole (amongst other things) in his system, he could simply chalk it up to dick pills and have Rogan and the whole UFC behind him spreading spin and propaganda to defend him.

Guess it's not just open season after all.
Too soon to tell IMO.

June and July of 2023 was obviously the USADA era so any test failures were administered by USADA.

So CSAD deciding harsh punishments for old USADA tests (applied to just one fighter, who doesn't bring in big bucks) doesn't suggest anything on a grand scale, other than maybe the fact they're willing to end one fighter's career (who wasn't a star) simply for the sake of optics.

This is wild...

"Subsequently, and after he was notified of the June 23, 2023 adverse finding, Harris provided urine and blood samples on August 6, 2023. His urine sample was positive for the presence of anastrozole, a new prohibited substance that was not present in any of the previous samples, as well as drostanolone and its metabolite. His blood sample tested positive for the presence of exogenous testosterone, which based on its values, was determined as new administration since the notification of his first adverse finding on July 11, 2023

So he failed a drug test from June, subsequently took more stuff, and failed another test less than two months later...wow. That takes a special kind of stupid.

He’s popped before and he’s a training partner of Jon Jones mmmmm.

Well they sure as shit aren't moving any arena events across state borders or running a propaganda campaign for Walt Harris.

What a farce.
Fucking dog and pony show.

Look over here and pay no attention to that man behind the curtain with eleventeen failed PED tests and a HW belt he won't unify.

Reminds me of this urban legend in the NFL:

One week a backup defensive lineman falls asleep during film study and he is cut from the team, sent packing.

The following week, Tom Brady falls asleep during film study...

so they wake him up and say:
"here Mr Brady, we got you a coffee just the way you like it and a banana muffin."

It just seems the guys that pop are so washed or random it’s almost as if by design.

How is he the only guy that has been caught/punished in 3 months since USADA left? For something USADA caught in the past?

Make it make sense.

He was caught before USADA left, so that last question means nothing. CSAD just finished the case since USADA termed.

Fact of the matter is Walt is a 40 year old repeat offender who has a massive life changing situation keep him out of the cage for a minute, and at 40 probably decided some juice would get him back to a payday, and he got caught.

Walt Harris can't afford to have a guy on staff who monitors his detection windows, or a chemist to ever so slightly chemically alter his gear so it doesn't get detected.

What he popped for is very standard issue gear.

You ain't kidding on that standard issue part, the test and anastrozole are easily obtainable now thru various medical suppliers, they're most people's intro to PEDs now days.

drostanalone I'm not as familiar with but I figure it's not all that hard to get, either.

Drostanalone is more commonly known as masteron. One of the "safest" steroids available.

And it is pretty easy to order this stuff online these days.
