I don't understand the fairy tale these people live in. How many stories of the mass shooter showing up at your work place do you need to see, before you get a clue that you aren't untouchable. That is a fucking illussion.

I'm not saying that political violence isn't justified at times, and now is a time when some political violence would probably be a net benefit if it existed in a vacuum of individual acts, but it doesn't really work like that in the real world. Movements can't be assassinated, and the effect of martyrdom is unpredictable. Also wtf lol, you need to talk to a professional if you've crossed the threshold into such open, specific calls for violence. For real, you need to get that back down to a level where it's not bubbling out into illegal threats.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is alive and hilarious!!!

RBG appeared on NPR Wednesday and addressed the deep concerns millions of Americans have expressed over her health and the possibility Donald Trump will get another swing at stacking the court with ultra-conservative justices.

Justice Ginsburg, who was on the ropes late last year with another cancer bout, said, "There was a senator, I think it was after pancreatic cancer, who announced with great glee that I was going to be dead within six months ... that senator, whose name I have forgotten, is now himself dead, and I am very much alive."

BTW ... the politician was Kentucky Republican Senator Jim Bunning, who died in 2017.

Ginsburg has showed no signs of stepping down, and made it clear as long as she's able to do the job well she's not going anywhere.

problem is movie makers turn people's lives into typical movie story-lines.


the better the historical character, the less i want anyone to make a movie about them.

Not enough time in a movie to flesh the character out accurately and in an interesting fashion. I think a mini-series would be a better format for biographical entertainment.
