Cause i believe Waterson got a chance against an overrated opponent.

Overrated doesn't mean "bad". She could be a good fighter, but considered a great one, so she would be overrated. Definitely she is. People once believed she was gonna destroy Rose, and even Valentina when most people haven't heard of her.
 
jj is the rightful favorite and should win. i think it will be a lot closer of a fight than most on this site think tho.

yea, that was pretty normal thought back then. i still think she can beat rose, not valentina.. way too big a size difference.
 
Waterson looked really good against Karolina, odds should be a little closer but Joanna should be the favorite. I think she'll try to grapple with Joanna and make the fight dirty.

So you meant she was overrated?
I don't think anything about where she currently stands or what people say about her is overrated.

Yeah, she was way overrated. I mean, she was considered a dominant champ. Now she would be the underdog against Rose, Andrade and Weili Zhang would literally kill her if she wants.

Rose was on a one fight win streak heading into the first Joanna fight so that was understandable. And Valentina was 3-0 against Joanna in Muay Thai and they were two weight classes apart. I think you're just biased against her.
 
I don't bet but if she's really a 6-1 underdog, it might be worth taking a chance

She steamrolled KK who is like Joanna lite

Agreed.
I bought into it a bit but also thought the division lacked talent at the time. Rose exposed her. And Andrade showed there is a lot of parity in the division. Weili is a different thing entirely though. That division grew up quick.

Joanna is still a very talented fighter but a handful of others caught up and surpassed her.
She has new priorities anyway. Boobiewoman is coming!
