Cejudo should never have come back, not in UFC anyways. When he walked away initially, his stock was at it's (cringiest) peak. He could have gone to dominate cans for equal or more money and much less effort elsewhere, if money was the problem, but I feel like he has always had a chip on his shoulder and that chip, unfortunately, resulted in the three-step decline back to what isn't quite obscurity but comes close to irrelevance? Step 1) Complete the transformation to Cringe Goku. Step 2) Not beating Sterling, his taller cringe twin. Step 3) Gas out against Dvalishvili in 1.5 rounds and cement the notion that he's not getting near (any) title shot again and should have remained retired before Step 1).
