What would it take for you to move across the country?

Honestly? I'd have to get a better job, in a nicer place, and my missus would have to come with me.

I and my family have moved around way too much to have any roots.

Im thinking about a move to San Diego. Could you tell me more about the city? Also, would 100k salary be enough to live comfortably? I’m single, no kids and can live within my means. Is the weather as nice as they say it is?

On the thread: A huge typhoon hit my area in May. No electricity for four weeks. It really rocked me to my core.
That salary is fine for one person; decent 1bd apartment in central SD will start at 1300 and go up. The weather does not change between SD and Ventura, it is always the same, warm and sunny along the coast, or blazing hot/super cold inland.

Here are two condos for you to judge, both in nice central areas near each other but different vibes.
