Which political issue gets under your skin the most?

Trying to make America socialist and commie.

Pandering and feigned outrage. It's so fucking transparent.

For me it has to be black lives matter issues for ridiculously unnecessary cases like Michael Brown which had nothing to do with racism and everything to do with thuggery.

What say you?
yup..

This pissed me off to no end...the entire narrative of "hands up don't shoot" turned out to be a lie, and Mike Brown attacked a police officer and somehow....

Officer Wilson is horrible racist monster...

abortion because of convenience has to be high on the list

people that pretend america needs a certain socialist program because "some other country has it" come off as jealous kids

people that pretend being poor in america is really all that horrible have never gone to a real third world country

People who claim obesity is linked to poverty and oppression. There are people in this world starving to death or at least don't know where their next meal is coming from. So if you are in a position where you can stuff your face with enough food to make yourself obese, then you are not living in poverty or suffering any form oppression. Quite the opposite in fact.

"Communism has never been tried" combined with "socialism isn't accepted because Americans don't understand it"

America has been a Social Democracy for over 60 years now.

Socialism in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s made America great.

-Gerrymandering

-Lobbying and moneyed interests directly writing legislation in their favor.

-"Both sides are the same"

Lol

Only took 6 or so posts for the first TRUMP IS RACIST retard post.

There can be no discussion without these retards

No one thinks Trump is racist. And that's not what that guy said.

I dislike that secure borders and the 2nd amendment have become partisan issues.

They haven't. Fox News and right wing news outlets get the right all riled up because like 5 people in the country want open borders. 99.9% of people in the US are for some sort of border control and probably 90% of Americans are pro 2nd amendment. Most people want responsible gun measures taken and this only flares up after a mass shooting. Neither of these issues are real issues to the American people.

Legal corruption. Aka lobbying and campaign finance.

@Cubo de Sangre believes money is speech. I really like Cubo as a poster, and yet I start to get nasty whenever we debate it. I can reel myself in, but it takes effort.

@Cubo de Sangre is mostly right about that. Maybe hearing it from someone you have deep personal affection for will set you straight.

My maybe overly general answer would be bullshit. Like, if people want to argue about the fairness of the tax code, that's one thing, but to claim that regressive tax cuts are going to have magic economy-boosting effects is bullshit and a waste of time to argue about (because people claiming it know it isn't true). People freaking out about immigration is one thing; but people pretending that immigration has negative economic effects are bullshitting. Same thing with fake scandals and debt hysteria. When people don't know or care if what they're saying is false, it's so much worse than just having an honest difference of opinion.

Europe giving free citizenship to any unvetted third-world migrant that walks in. It blows my mind that something this insane and contrary to common sense is actually happening. Worst yet, that the Euros aren't protesting, it's really not the migrants that are the truly sobering thought - but the fact that the mindset of the populace has deteriorated to this point.

Body positivity and fat acceptance
I accept you’re fat and I’m positive you look like shit

I talked to my black friends who were outraged and they weren't buying wilsons story. I asked them how many things would have to go wrong in your life to rob a liquor store and punch a police officer in less than 30 minutes?

A lot of issues are trainwrecks, too hard to choose and lots of good examples itt. But within the political environment, what bothers me most is the lack of accountability for lies.

Partisan hypocrisy

For example, ignoring economic indicators (or claiming they are false) when one party is in power and then toting those same figures when another is in power.

These type of games really get under my skin.

Gun control. No matter how much and how often their arguments get beaten down, they come back not too long after and make the same retarded arguments.
