How did he win 4:55 of round 1? He pressured more, sure, but strikes were even and he didn't control the octagon.

Funny how this fight played out opposite of what you are saying. Rob landing all the strikes and israel barely throwing then lands a well timed punch. Well....2.

nah no way Kelvin was way more patient and bamboozled izzy a couple times with some good footwork.

it was a close first round. Whittaker was winning. but ultimately it doesn't matter. well done Israel
 
What a shitty fight plan.. rushing in swinging powerpunch over and over... Mix it with a cople of takedown attempt at least.. it was a matter of time becore he get burned out or koed. Sad performance but amazing distance awareness by adesanya!

Feel like he thought he could catch Izzy with xtra long counters like kelvin did, wait for izzy to pull his head back and then swing there once he has less mobility. Izzy's footwork too good tho and Kelvin's is a lot better than Whittaker's imo.

He got clipped twice, he was burning a lot of energy with those big misses. If he didn’t get KO’d, he would have been in for a rough rounds 3-5

Honestly thought Adesanya had the read on him the last two minutes of the first round, but Whittaker came back and I thought was doing his best work at the beginning of the second. Great fight.

he didnt get beat up in the 2nd at all. he got hit with some glancing shots and rolled with the big hits and landed harder shots in return
