Don't like this matchup. If Khamzat loses, he is pushed back for a title shot and it gives us another unnecessary Whittaker title shot. If Whittaker gets a title shot next, he should have to beat Strickland while DDP and Izzy fight for the title next. Khamzat could have fought Paulo and get a title shot off of that win.

Seems like a terrible matchup for Khamzat. After seeing him arguably lose (or draw) against an over-the-hill WW coming off the couch, where was gassed by the 3rd round, I tend to think Whittaker is a good bet in a 5-round fight.

I have Whittaker by late stoppage or cruising to a clear decision.

Also I’m picking khamzat to win anyway. Whittaker has good TDD but not enough to deal with the khamzat blitz and I don’t believe Whittaker can survive the grappling from round 1. He’s getting subbed

Probably the worst matchup for Khamzat in the entire division. He should have taken the Costa fight imo. If he gets by Whittaker give him the damn title shot.
